A delightful respite in Bordeaux
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Isabelle Gervy lovely La Halte Montaigne. Close to the main train station, it was a perfect place for us to relax after turning in our leased car on a Friday and taking the TGV to Paris on Saturday afternoon. Isabelle has created a clean and well-designed maison d’hôtes. The garden is perfect for a picnic of foods and wine from the local shops, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast worth getting up for. Plus Isabelle herself is a great source of information and assistance with regard to the local resources and sites. Highly recommended!
