Gorgeous guesthouse
Lovely, light and airy room with a very comfortable bed. Isabelle, the host, was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. She was more than happy to help me improve my schoolgirl french and was always interested in hearing (in french) on how my day’s sight-seeing had gone! There is a communal kitchen downstairs, next to the breakfast room, with complimentary tea and coffee and a large refrigerator, in which guests could store drinks and snacks, cheese and/or charcuterie, if they wanted. A wonderful six days in Bordeaux and La Halte Montaigne – can’t wait to go back.
