Handy location for the railway station
Loved the Isabelle is an excellent host. Very welcoming and so knowledgeable about Bordeaux, having lived there all of her life. She kindly devised a walking tour of the city for us which took us to places we may not of visited otherwise. The breakfast is first class, fresh bread and croissants/pain au chocolate, fresh orange juice and preserves. A small kitchenette with a fridge is at your disposal as is a lounge area. The location is ideal for the station and about 25 minutes walk into town. Despite trip advisor saying there was a fridge in the rooms, there wasn’t one in ours.
We had a front room facing the fairly noisy road, go for a back (superior)room if you need a quiet nights sleep. The room next door had extremely creaky floorboards, possibly the occupants had heavy boots on as it was quite disturbing late at night. The room was well equipped but the toilet was tiny. However all this didn’t detract from our wonderful stay there.”
